Events Grant Scheme


Mildura Rural City Council's Events Unit, based at The Alfred Deakin Centre, provides specialist support, resources and promotion for more than 300 events held across the municipality.
The Events Unit plays an important role in making Mildura one of Australia's premier regional event centres.
The Events Unit has produced a number of publications and offers the Events Grant Scheme which can be perused by following the links in the Related Information section of this page.
The Events Grant Scheme is open to recreation, community groups and service organisations located within the municipality and consists of the Community Events Grant Scheme and the Major Events Grant Scheme.
The Events Unit can assist with the organisation of your festival or event in a number of ways, ranging from general advice to administrative support and financial assistance.
Applications for the Events Grant Scheme are now closed for the period of 1 August 2009 to 31 July 2010.
