Go racing in Mildura

Mildura Racing Club hosts 11 meets per year, including the Mildura Cup, special race meets, midweek and Saturday racing and a big Melbourne Cup Carnival that is fun for the whole family.

The Mildura Cup in May and is a great day out that features local food and wine, kids activities, live entertainment and fashions on the field.

The race that stops a nation

Each year Mildura celebrates the Melbourne Cup long weekend with jazz, wine and the annual Outback Pizza night at the Baker's Oven, built in 1912 and located at nearby Cowangie.

At the Mildura Racing Club Melbourne Cup Carnival, catch the excitement of the action on the 1760-metre course as well as the festivities around the track. The best fashions on the field are judged, local wine and food are on offer, enjoy great musical entertainment, and keep the kids entertained with activities including jumping castles and pony rides.

Mildura Racing Club is 3.5 kilometres from the town centre off Cowra Avenue near the Murray River.
