Paddleboat Coonawarra

1069 Hugh King Drive Mildura VIC 3502

Step back in time, 127 years to be exact, and experience the historic Paddleboat Coonawarra. She was originally built as a barge in 1894 and used to transport wool from station properties to the Port of Echuca. In 1949 she was converted to a cruise ship working out of the Port of Echuca and more recently the Port of Mildura.

The Coonawarra is moored at 1069 Hugh King Drive right on the mighty Murray River overlooking Lock Island, the Mildura weir and wharf, arguably the best location in Mildura.

The Coonawarra offers 16 private cabins (note the cabins are small) each with its own ensuite and air-conditioning. Relax on the deck or enjoy the panoramic view in the air conditioned comfort of the Blue Lounge or Julia Room as the riverboats slowly meander on by. Please note the paddle boat is only available to groups able to book the whole boat.
